I feel inklings of my heart and soul emerging, as autumn leaves reveal true colors, fall, and branches now silhouette standing rooted and solitary, among temperatures in the teens along the Kenai River in Alaska. I’m tucked in with my now three, yes three, Labrador Retrievers, who keep constant company, one resting his head on my foot as I write. I’m so looking forward to reading, writing, sharing, connecting on Substack as I navigate belonging, aloneness, and aliveness.
